Environment In The News


Good Evening SEACers!


Carol Browner, Obama's energy adviser, will be leaving the White House. Due to the Republican majority in the House, Browner believes that her most important goal, a comprehensive energy bill, will not be realized. Here are two tips to help you stay updated:


1. You can LISTEN to NPR's "Hourly News Summary" anytime during the day. This literally takes 5 minutes max and gives you a quick summary of the most important news of the day. This generally includes some kind of energy/environment news. It is updated hourly, as the name indicates.

2. Politico is a great website that succinctly sums up all the political news of each day. You can also either read or get an e-mail of Politico's "Morning Energy" which lists off all the energy news in Washington for the day. Visit THIS WEBSITE.
