Environment In The News

In my last post, I mentioned that environmental issues can often be divisive political topics. Recent news regarding the upcoming elections has focused on the topic of global climate change and its place in liberal and conservative spheres. Though most scientists and the majority of Democrats adhere to the notion that human caused climate change is a fact rather than a belief, certain conservatives (specifically Tea Party members) are vocally resisting this notion. Whether a Democrat or a Republican, it is necessary to challenge and question the positions of our nation's policy makers.
