Black and Gold Go Green was started in November 2007 by five members of SEAC after their trip to the national Powershift Conference in Washington, DC. The goal of the blog was to educate students at Wake Forest about sustainability and bring this national movement to our campus. The original five posters have all graduated, but the sustainability movement at Wake is stronger than ever. Over the four years, this blog has had over 100 posts and 4500 unique visitors. The executive board of SEAC continues to maintain the blog.
